Restaurant: Flower Drum
Comments: I was excited to try Australia's best Chinese restaurant but was a little sceptical on how good Chinese food could actually be. Our waiter was very nice and he chat to us a lot. The food was quite nice but I wouldn't call it the best Chinese in the country. Some of my meals at silks at Crown Perth have been more impressive. I didn't really have a favourite dish, they were all just good but nothing special. But if I had to choose, it would be the boneless garfish or the fried ice cream only because I love fried ice cream. I got the 5 course banquet for $140.
Rating: 70% - would still recommend as my expectations were probably too high
